Updating sequential file using java
Instances of this class support both reading and writing to a random access file. Random Access File class − void write Double(double v) This method converts the double argument to a long using the double To Long Bits method in class Double, and then writes that long value to the file as an eight-byte quantity, high byte write Float(float v) This method converts the float argument to an int using the float To Int Bits method in class Float, and then writes that int value to the file as a four-byte quantity, high byte first.
Suppose we have four records R1, R3 and so on upto R9 and R8 in a sequence. Suppose we want to insert a new record R2 in the sequence, then it will be placed at the end of the file.
