The new maps are free (plus shipping and handling) for 910, 510, Tom Tom ONE, and NAVIGATOR 6 products. If you want to update the maps on a GO, 300 & 700, RIDER, or Tom Tom NAVIGATOR 5 you pay the .95 upgrade price. There are over 410,000 miles of new roads, six million new addresses, new POIs for shopping centers and golf courses, better details of road limitations such as one way streets, signposts, and restricted turns, and over 500,000 new POIs.
Of course we can also update the maps by accessing the official Tom Tom website, and then download Tom Tom Home app in your Pc which will recognize the data on your navigator and will offer you the latest maps available.
It can be installed on an SD card and run alongside the original software on the Tom Tom device.
Finally, the last option to get free Tom Tom maps is the Android or i Phone smartphone app.
All these changes are uploaded by Tom Tom owners following the steps here.
These are then grouped into a single package that becomes available for download to navigator owners which register on the developer website and have the Home app installed on the PC.
These maps must be paid for but they are also the most carefully reviewed and updated.
